How We Clean a Headstone (Without Damaging It)
Conservation, not scrubbing. A short look at the careful method behind every stone we touch.
Preserving sacred ground
Restoration Point Conservancy carefully cleans, repairs, and documents old and neglected graveyards — protecting the stonework, the history, and the people remembered there.
What we do
We reset fallen markers, repair broken stone, and clean using conservation-safe methods — never pressure washers or harsh chemicals.
Every legible headstone is photographed and transcribed into a public record, so the names are never lost again.
We work with towns, historical societies, and families to keep restored grounds cared for long after our work is done.
